How can BET Awards be the Main Event?

How can this award show claim to be the main event when it does not include everyone? Please don't attack me, I'm just asking. Let's take Beyonce, she has a MTV Award, VH1 award, Grammy and American Music award, but someone like Kelly Clarkson will never have a BET Award. Is this fair?

no offense but i think those BET awards is a lil over rated and i think it's pretty pointless....... i watch it from time to time, sure, but it's .. boring...

and well kelly won't get the award cuz she's not black xD and i don't think kelly wants to be on BET.... idk.... i love BET but this is just a lil... not my type of event that's so big for me to watch

Maybe there is too many award shows. I will check back after I watch the BET Award show...lol

UMM NO DISRESPECT BUT KELLY IS NOT BLACK. SEE Y SHE DOESNT HAVE A BET AWARD. ITS SAID TO BE THE MAIN EVENT CAUSE IT REPRESENTS BLACK CULTURE LIKE RAP, SPORTS, ETC. AN ENTIRE NIGHT OF BLACKNESS. This is my assessment of the BET Award show:

The two Jennifer’s, Hudson & Holiday were a wonderful opening act.

Monique and her girls made me regurgitate my dinner.

Was not impressed with Ne-Yo’s performance.

Sick of Beyonce after she made all of those videos.

The tribute to Gerald Lavert was fantastic.

T.I. was only OK!

50 Cent walked around holding his private part throughout the entire song. Ridiculous!

Rihanna who is #1 on at least 8 billboard charts, and has the #1 single in the country did not perform. Rihanna was lovely as always.

I miss took Erykah Badu for Chaka Cahn, both needed to comb their hair.

Diana Ross was elegant, and her children were beautiful. She deserves any award she gets.

I enjoyed Ciara’s performance.

Please what ever you do-do not let Monique host again. She makes me sick to my stomach.
