I wanna get into some bands I've probably never heard of, my favourite band is the Arctic Monkeys, a band like that would be awesome.

Any suggestions on who I could give a listen?

Brand new here, just joined 10 minutes ago.

It looks like my kind of place. MIss Antonia - you are so right !!!! The Fratellis are a great band and glad you mentioned them on this thread to somebody to try out.

I joined the Johnny Thunders site and when I mentioned the Fratelllis, I got blown out of the room with aggression. Everyone felt they sucked and had no qualms about telling me so. We certainly do not all need to agree on everything, but their aggressiveness was a bit off-putting to me.

Anyhow, so glad to be on board, and hope I get to make a lot of friends here who love music as much as I do.
