Rap Attack June 2008 SUBMIT HERE!

Welcome to the June 2008 BigMusicBoard RapAttack! Get ready to drop your verses and take home some cool prizes!

The details:
The rap can be as short or as long as you need to express yourself to the other Big Music Board members. Try not to let you flow be whack just let go - the most important thing is that we dig it!

Entries are open from now until 30th June and you can submit multiple entries. The limit is 5 entries per person.

The rules:
Keep it clean people and keep the love for your other members - no disrespectin! The rap can be as long or as short as you like, as long as its banging. you can enter multiple times but you gotta submit each entry as a new reply...

To submit your entry you just gotta reply to this thread. just Hit 'new reply', paste your Rap in then Hit Submit!

Since we are cool like that we figured we would keep our game hottt with the prizes so 1st place gets a PlayStation 3 and 2nd place gets a ipod touch...

word up, if you entered raps in the febuary rap attack, we didnt hold a voting for that one so you can just resubmit those raps here... this is easier now that we got the rapattacks back on schedule from the beginning of the month till the end we goona hold them every month

if they start taking off we will start to up the prizes so feel free to let us know what you want to win next month after you post your raps!

Brand new season to behold/UV rays will try to mold
End of spring and onto heat/makes one sweat from head to feet
It’s so humid like I’m trapped/need a sunglass and a hat
Other ways to keep it cool/air condition and a pool
Others hanging at the beach/but that’s too far for my reach
Another month another day/onto June say goodbye May
Having fun and hanging out/that’s what summers all about

sometimes you feel it’s the end
but trust me it’s the beginning of new trend
sometimes what you get is not what you want
but why to regret, it doesn’t mean you cant
so try on, no need of a shoulder to cry on

i ain't gonna lie, that girl had me open/
thinkin bout her all the time, i couldn't focus/
i was maybe hopin, that there could be more/
but that's when shit started gettin crazy and my heart was torn/
i thought i wouldn't care, i thought i would be fine/
but here i am trynna get some sleep but can't cuz i'm cryin/
feels like my heart is missin pieces, feels like i'm empty/
when she said those last words i thought that it can't be/
i thought i made her happy but not happy enough/
we had issues like honesty affection and trust/
but i thought it was something we could work on and last/
but by the time i thought that she was gone and passed/
i always thought my first love was gonna be more than what we had/
but the fact that she can't make up her mind makes me mad/
i was thinkin maybe she would wanna come back to me/
but that's impossible, cuz after she did that to me/
i'm a new bitch, the pain of love defeated me/
she said i wasnt there for her when she needed me/
she says she's going back to suckin a dick/
while i'm, stayin put of a thought about fuckin a bitch/
i keep bumping into her in the streets and i just couldn't take it/
i couldn't face it, i feel like the last 31 days were wasted/

It all started with a dream & a fucking rap magazine
no body dared its how unreal it seemed
i wouldnt have even cared but then i just set my mind to win
& in the end my options grew thin
so i just let it begin
back then my mind was a maze
so i tried to eraze
all this bullshit i was put through
and tried to escape

but i was back in the same shoes
heard the same boos
always under attack
its like a chase
Hit me hard but do not on the back

caged in my own rage but just never give up
i would try until i die cause it just building up
it had been sealed enough

u just try to hold me back

take it straight on my face

may be only for a while

what does it take for a rapper to be respected..
write poetry through music and send these kids a message..
tell them that doin drugs is wrong and poppin guns ain't right..
but the rappers ain't sayin that, that's why these kids run for life..
gotta lie to their parents and get chased by cops..
gotta know their enemies or their face gets shot..
gotta know when to grill til the braces hot..
they wanna get out of the hood so the matrix stops..
they can't show that they're weak so they hide their tears..
gotta show that they strong so they deny their fears..
with ears they see, with eyes they hear..
gunshots throughout the night, can't you see the people dyin here..
don't know how to get rid of the pain, this vigorous pain..
can give you death, can get your parents kissin ya name..
printed on a neat stone buried in grass..
this is a testament, the truth goin against the american rap..
